This is our flagship program at SJJC. We merge Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, world class nutritional support and accountability coaching to help our members get the best results possible within their first six weeks of training. There are numerous ways to approach the challenge relative to a student's goals that will be assessed during the free goal setting consultation.

The 6-Week Transformation Challenge is designed for anyone ready to take the first step toward a stronger, more disciplined version of themselves. You’ll fit right in if:

How It Works

We make the process simple and goal-driven so you can focus on showing up and giving your best:


Free Consultation

Sit down with one of our coaches to set clear, personal goals. We’ll talk about what “transformation” means to you and map out a plan.


Train Three Times Per Week

Attend a mix of Fundamentals, All Levels, or Women’s BJJ classes to complete at least 18 sessions during your challenge.


Accountability & Nutrition Support

Stay on track with guidance in nutrition, lifestyle choices, and regular check-ins that keep you moving forward.


Graduate to Prime Membership

After six weeks, you’ll not only have a strong grasp of the fundamentals of jiu jitsu but also a training habit you can build on for the long term and a community to do it with.

The 6-Week Transformation Challenge is our program that has been tested and refined by our expert coaches at Southside Jiu Jitsu Club, creating a smooth entry into the gym and community or even into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu altogether.

Consistency Over Intensity

Instead of crash workouts or unsustainable routines, we focus on building a training habit. By completing at least 18 classes in six weeks, you’ll create a rhythm of practice that sticks.

Do I need any prior experience to join?

No. The challenge is designed for complete beginners as well as those returning to training. Our Fundamentals and All Levels classes will guide you step by step.


What if I’m out of shape or have never done martial arts?

Then this program is for you. The challenge is structured to meet you where you are and help you build strength, fitness, and confidence at your own pace.


How often do I need to train?

You’ll need to complete at least 18 classes in six weeks, which works out to about three sessions per week. Many students choose to train more often once they get into the rhythm.


What happens if I miss a class?

We know life gets busy. Our schedule offers multiple class times, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make up sessions and stay on track.


What kind of results should I expect?

Results vary depending on your personal goals. Some participants focus on weight loss and fitness, others on confidence, discipline, or self-defense skills. That’s why we begin with a free consultation to set your goals clearly.


What do I need to bring for class?

A water bottle, flip flops or slides for the bathroom, and comfortable athletic wear. If you don’t own a gi (uniform) yet, you can still start training. Our team will guide you on how to get properly outfitted.


How much does the challenge cost?

Pricing is tailored to your goals and discussed during your free consultation. We want your investment to align with the results you’re aiming for.


What happens after the challenge?

Once you complete the 6-Week Challenge, you’ll graduate into our Prime Membership program where you can continue training and building on the foundation you’ve created.

If you're new to Jiu Jitsu, you will be enrolled in our fundamentals class which is geared for individuals with zero martial arts experience. All you need to bring is towel, some water, a change of clothes and an open mind. We are excited to train with you!
